2019 Summit – The Last Time We Were All Together!

We are so glad that you are planning to attend the CFJS Summit 2023. This year’s conference is where you’ll find the ideas, trends, best practices, and—most importantly—people that will make your work in support of Jewish older adults even more effective.

Connect with colleagues and lay leaders from around the Carolinas for learning, networking, and inspiration. We are so happy that we are able to be together in person once again.

 

WHO: Organizations that received a grant in 2022 and/or organizations that applied for a grant in 2023.

WHERE/WHEN: The 2023 Summit will take place April 23-24, 2023 in beautiful Durham, NC.

The conference will kickoff at 5:30 pm at Jewish For Good at the Levin JCC with a reception and dinner for CFJS grantees and the CFJS Board of Directors. The keynote speaker will be Lindsay Goldman, LMSW, CEO of Grantmakers in Aging. The conference will conclude at 2:30 pm on Monday. Overnight stay will be at The Durham Hotel. Detailed itinerary to follow.

COST: The conference is free for all attendees (conference, meals). The hotel expense is covered by CJFS for ONE hotel room for overnight Sunday. CFJS asks attendees to cover travel expenses, and parking fees and incidentals at the hotel. Any additional hotel rooms on Sunday overnight must be covered by attendees (@$159/night + tax). If you have interest in sharing a double room with an attendee from another organization, please contact Rachel Wolf.

REGISTRATION: Each attendee must complete the form below to register for the conference and hotel stay.

**If you would like to add additional nights at The Durham Hotel, the hotel is offering Summit registrants the reduced rate of $159/night + tax for Friday, Saturday, and Monday. Rooms are limited for those nights, especially over the weekend. If you would like to book additional nights, at your own expense, please email Rebecca Anderton AND McKenzie Ramsey at The Durham Hotel at randerton@thedurham.com and mramsey@thedurham.com. PLEASE NOTE: Pease give the sales team 24 hours to respond to your request. If you email them over a weekend, you may not receive a response until Monday or Tuesday.

DEADLINE: Friday, April 7, 2023 at noon. We cannot promise that rooms at The Durham Hotel will be available after this date.

Hotel Booking Information

Please understand that it may take 24 hours for a turnaround on your request and if you email them on the weekend, do not expect a response until the business week.
